<p>Şimdiki zamandır. Yaşadığımız anda gerçekleşen fiilleri anlatmak için kullanılır. Yardı<br />
mcı fiilleri bize daha önceden tanıdık gelecek olan ‘am, is, are’dır. Kişilere göre da-<br />
ğılımı aynıdır.</p>

<p>1. The boys are making sand castles.<br />
2. The children are playing basketball.<br />
3. Two old people are sitting on the bench.</p>
<p>4. A girl is riding a bike.<br />
5. The Sun is shining.<br />
6. The seagulls are şying in the sky.<br />
7. A girl is skipping rope.<br />
8. Their mother is watching the children.<br />
9. The man is running in the park.<br />
10. The woman is talking on the phone.</p>
<p>NOTE: – The Present Continuous Tense’te<br />
fiiller – ing takısı alır.Bu bir takım<br />
hece değişikliğine sebep olur.<br />
a. Genelde tüm fiiller sonuna yalnızca<br />
– ing takısı alarak şimdiki zaman<br />
şekline bürünürler.<br />
Watch – watching Work – working<br />
Eat – eating Drink – drinking<br />
b. Sonu –e ile biten fiiller –ing aldığında<br />
–e düşer.<br />
Take – taking shine – shining<br />
Drive – driving sunbathe – sunbathing<br />
c. Bazı fiillerde ses ikizleşmesi görülür.<br />
Run – running Swim – swimming<br />
Skip &#8211; skipping Cut – cutting<br />
