One day Nasreddin Hodja went to a khan and hired a room. He went to bed and tried to sleep. Then somebody knocked at the door and asked:
‘Hodja, hodja are you sleeping?'
Nasreddin Hodja answered:
‘What do you want?'
The stranger said:
‘I want to borrow some money if you have.'
Nasreddin Hodja:
‘Go away, man. I'm sleeping.'
