What do you think of (about) ………… ?

Bir konu hakkında insanlara ne düşündüğünü sormak amacıyla kullanılan bu yapı cevap olacak “I think …………….. ” ile başlayan bir kullanım gerektirir. Eğer bir nesne ya da kavram hakkında ne düşünüldüğünü sorulacaksa, sorulan nesne ya da kavram yerine “it, she, he, they” zamirleri kullanılabilir.

What do you think of (about) + noun …………….?

Ex:
1. What do you think of basketball?
I think it (basketball) is very interesting.
2. What do you think of my new dress?
I think it (my new dress) is nice.
3. What do you think of English classes?
I think they are (English classes) enjoyable.
4. What do you think of Ali?
I think he (Ali) is handsome.
– Fiiller hakkında ne düşünüldüğünü de sorulabilir. Böyle bir durumda fiil yerine ‘it' kullanmak yeterlidir. Fiil sonuna ‘ing' alır.
