Imperatives

İngilizce'deki emir cümleleridir. İkinci tekil kişi ‘sen' ya da ikinci çoğul kişi ‘siz'i içlerinde barındırırlar. Cümle yapısı aşağıdaki gibidir.

Stop at the red light.

NOTE: Olumsuz cümlelerde cümlelerin başına ‘Don't' eklenir. Geri kalan cümle yapısı aynıdır.

Don't turn off the lights mum!

Don't draw pictures on the wall.

a) Give your seat to her.
b) Don't watch TV. Do your homework.
c) Help your mother with the box.
d) Don't touch it.
e) Eat your meal.
f) Don't throw stones.
g) Take a photo with your teacher.
h) Don't run after the dog.

NOT: Emirleri rica haline getirmek için sonuna ‘please' eklenir.
